Scope of work:
? Responsible for development administration and support of Remedy IT Service Management tool suite, i.e. Incident, Service Management, Change Management and Asset Management. Ensures tool is aligned with ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) methodology and best practices.
? Designs and implement service request workflows for IT solutions and services in accordance with documented business requirements and service level agreements.
? Administers foundation data to ensure consistency and accuracy across the different disciplines and locations
? Assesses ITSM tool effectiveness by continuously seeking ways to improve operation, increase automation and implement efficient processes.
? Performs support responsibilities associated with the ITSM tool suite

Required skills/competencies:
Solid experience with methodologies, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) foundation best practices and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) tool suite (incident, service request, change & asset management, etc.). Solid experience with Remedy 8.1 tool suite.

Requires solid communication and written skills within a global environment with individuals at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers and business partners.


Preferred Skills:
? Intermediate level proficiency with database schemas and business objects. Experienced in understanding and querying SQL Server 2000 & 2008 and Oracle databases and use of Microsoft Access and Hyperion Interactive Reporting.
? Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
? Ability to work under pressure with changing requirements and tight deadlines
? Detailed oriented, producing quality products thoroughly tested and validated


Preferred Education:
? Requires a Bachelor?s degree in Information Systems, or equivalent experience
? 2+ years of technical ITSM administration and development experience
? 2+ years hands on programming experience using Developer Studio & AIF
2+ years minimum functional experience with Remedy AR System/ Remedy ITSM architecture BMC Remedy ARS 7.6.x or higher
BMC Remedy ITSM 7.6.x or higher (Service Desk, Change Management, Asset Management)
BMC Service Request Management 7.6.x or higher
BMC Service Level Management 7.6.x or higher
BMC Analytics


Required Certifications:
Certifications preferred:
ITIL V3 Foundation Certification
BMC Remedy System Administrator Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 on version 7.6.x or higher (or equivalent real-world experience)
BMC Atrium CMDB Part 1 and Part 2
