Berean Group is looking for Marketing and Sales Global Business Systems Analyst
 
This is an onsite position.
 
Location:
Miramar, FL (South Florida)
Duration: 8 Months contract

Scope of work:
Client is looking for a Business Analyst to join the Global Business Solutions team to help support the Marketing and Sales Organization. As a business Analyst you will be responsible for understanding current business practices and work collaboratively with IT teams and business partners to identify opportunities for business changes. You will be an advocate for the business regarding prioritization of IT efforts according to business needs, as well as ensure technology solutions provided are aligned with business goals to achieve and exceed customer?s expectations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in translating business requirements into functional specifications. This individual is expected to have an understanding of marketing processes & systems, strong project management skills, and demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills.You will be, using functional knowledge, engage with technical peers to define strategic direction within the specific discipline and to solve complex business problems, by means of a systematic and disciplined approach. This position employs business process knowledge, analysis, design, testing and collaboration with technical peers to accomplish assignments.
 
Required skills/competencies:
  • Leads initiation, planning and management of product suite portfolio to meet customer needs and business strategy
  • Collaborates with internal and external constituents, including vendors, to meet common goals and resolve conflicting issues
  • Leads, directs, and provides functional guidance to team
  • Defines interdependency with other disciplines and is involved in the testing and certification processes
  • Plans, designs, and supports the implementation of complex functional and technical applications and systems
  • Facilitates analysis and formulating of processes or systems to parallel overall business strategy
  • Supports the maintenance of computer systems and software applications
  • Interprets, refines and applies methods and procedures in accordance with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Information Technology industry standards and best practices as defined by Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd
  • Remains current with industry trends in order to conceive, prototype and recommend functional approaches for IT systems and solutions that meet business needs
Responsibilities:
  • Define processes and procedures to ensure Royal Caribbean is appropriately leveraging the functionality available within Siebel Marketing, Oracle OBIEE and our custom marketing databases to meet business requirements.
  • Enhance, test, and monitor the integration to Siebel Marketing, Oracle OBIEE and our custom marketing databases.
  • Perform various project management, business analysis and quality assurance activities related to Siebel Marketing, Oracle OBIEE, data movement and our custom marketing databases.
  • Summarize technical design to non-technical audiences; collect and maintain documentation
  • Documents data definitions and sources, analysis and reporting methods, and marketing support processes.
  • Communicates timely updates to marketing database based on core application database changes (e.g., product changes).
  • Maintains good relationships with marketing department and outside vendors to assist with database and process recommendations.
  • Maintains good relationships with Shared Services divisions and IT department to ensure current and accurate data loads, maintain high system uptime, resolve end user issues, implement systems upgrades; help troubleshoot issues
Preferred Skills:
  • Marketing Automation experience required, Siebel Marketing and Oracle OBIEE preferred
  • Big Data experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in the use and/or deployment of enterprise applications
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting & strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong Relationship Management skills is a requirement
  • Strong SQL skills are required
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge and capabilities within the business needs and IT
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong Team mentality
  • Successful at working with multiple departments and teams
  • Experience with datamovement, ORACLE OBIEE, Siebel marketing, and process flows
  • Understanding of SOAP, API, XML technologies and data movement required
  • Proven excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to articulate technology in technical and business terms
  • Ability to create technical documentation (including Visio flows of business solutions)

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or IT specialization
  • 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
