Berean Group is seeking a LDAP Support Specialist.

 

Location:  Hartford, CT

Employment Type: FTE

We are looking for an LDAP Support Specialist to be a part of our team of client-facing experts to help drive support processes, customer service and solution building.  This is an excellent opportunity for a professional that possesses a commitment to excellence and high standards. Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills are a must.  Candidates with demonstrated ability to effectively manage priorities, adapt well to changing priorities while remaining flexible and enthusiastic will be highly considered. 

 

Principal Responsibilities:

         Work on LDAP production support environment.

         Writing script to automate LDAP activities.

         Communication with end user and understanding the problem.

         Prepare technical documentation, as well as root cause analysis reports.

         Be a proactive member of the on-call team on rotational basis.

  

Required Skills:

         Candidate should have 4 ? 10 years of experience in the IT Industry

         Must have over 2 years of experience in supporting LDAP environments.

         Experience with Sun ONE LDAP/Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition.

         Hands-on administration including: overall configuration, troubleshooting, patch application, configuring replication, schema management, ACI management, encryption, patch application, etc.;

         Excellent troubleshooting skills to address real-time production issues and restore service from an operations stand-point.

         Administration, trouble-shooting and scripting for Unix/Solaris/Linux operating environments. 

 

Desired Skills:

         Experience in any product installation, configuration.

         Knowledge of WebSphere Application Server

         Working Knowledge of any Identity Management Product

         Knowledge of CA Siteminder or any other SSO products

         Candidates should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Education Requirement:

         Bachelor?s Degree, or equivalent work experience, in Computer Science or related field preferred.
