Location: Keene, NH

Job description:

1. Utilize and monitor financial systems to ensure consistent, timely, and accurate reporting of financial results, inparticular as they relate to inventory, product costs and costs related to Supply Chain activity. Ensurecompliance with US GAAP and Corporate Finance accounting policies and procedures. Responsible forinitiating improvements that ensure best practices and productivity are maintained in accounting disciplinesrelated to production activities and inventory. Support the month end closing process for US operations. Keycontributor to generating and understanding of monthly financial reporting packages related to Platformoperations per management requirements. Provide support to US Supply Chain team in making soundbusiness decisions as required. Works closely with all of Finance management to ensure seamlessachievement of overall functional goals.
2. Responsible for the SAP Controlling functions related to production and item costing. This includes assistingthe business controlling group as required to allow reporting consistency with other global Platforms.
3. Work with Finance management, outside accounting firms and general management as a source of informationfor the year-end financial audit, SARBOX audits and other internal requirements.
Principal Activities / Duties / Responsibilities:
1. Provide vision and support to the US Finance team (directly and indirectly) in accordance with the values and policies of client.
2. Primarily responsible for consistently applying US GAAP and Corporate accounting policies related to job functions toward producing accurate monthly and annual financial reporting.
3. Participate in timely and accurate monthly closings for the US financial entity per company policy and guidelines.
4. Required to posses a good working knowledge of the appropriate accounting systems (SAP) and responsible for the accuracy and documentation of job related transactions and their proper recording in the General Ledger.
5. Perform SAP Controlling processes for item costs as needed, ensuring consistency and accuracy in the process.
6. Participate in timely and accurate year-end closings, internal and external audits including SARBOX based on Corporate/Division guidelines, and local regulatory requirements
7. Work with other key Finance employees on annual budgeting process and US management reporting in analyzing actual results in comparison. Annual budgeting to include establishment of work center rates and analysis of actual performance.
8. Develop and maintain an understanding of how job related financial information is generated at client from in order to become a resource to Finance, US Supply Chain and management globally
9. Partner with and support the US Supply chain as required, particularly with inventory management, variance analysis, understanding and controlling of costs, and sound decision making.
Education/Experience required:
? Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance
? Five years or more experience in an accounting environment including cost accounting experience. Experience with manufacturing a plus.
Knowledge & Skills:
? Sound computer experience and skills. Good foundation of accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP.
