Berean Group is looking for Senior Deployment Manager. This is an onsite position.
Location: Austin,TX
Duration: 8 Months
Candidates must be able to relocate on their own expense. Candidates will also be required to attend in person interview. Cost for travel will be responsibility of the candidate.
?5 years of experience in software development or consulting
?3+ Years of hands-on project management experience in a software product company or Big 5 consulting firm
?Experience managing multiple projects in a software development and/or project management environment with 5 or more team members
?Experience scoping and estimating project effort (number of resources and duration)
?Experience creating and executing project budgets and managing project profitability
?Excellent customer interaction and presentation skills (ability to present to different audiences and bring the message across in a concise, professional manner)
?Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Microsoft's Office automation products

Previous experience in three of the following technical domains
?Distributed Systems deployment
?Microsoft Windows in a development environment
?Technical Solutions Architecture
?J2EE (Java, JSP, Servlets)
?Oracle and SQL Server
?Networking (TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, etc)
?Strong written and verbal English communications skills, with experience reporting project status to an internal and customer audience
?For positions outside the United States, every additional language is a plus
?Excellent problem solving skills
?PMP certification a plus
?Large scale call center operations knowledge preferred
?Ensure Motive provides innovative rapid system deployments for its customers
?Determine overall project business goals and success criteria. Define business requirements and objectives for the customer's Motive System(s)
?Work with Customer to clearly define the overall solution requirements and ensure that the solution design and implementation will meet the business needs of the customer.
?Manage the client relationship, set and meet customer expectations before and during project implementations.
?Ensure detailed documentation of functional and technical specifications of the proposed solution.
?Coordinate and manage efforts of Technical Architects, Consultants, Sr. Consultants, and other project team members with respect to the deployment.
?Manage resource request towards the internal staffing board (forecast resource needs throughout the project to maximize efficient use of resources)
? Coordinate training and mentorship for the customer's staff.
?Manage the delivery of periodic status reports to the customer as well as to the management team
?Lead the Motive and customer teams through acceptance testing, go-live and initial operations after launching the solution.
?Ensure deployments generate intended value for the customer
